There are two Talmuds, one named the Yerushalmi the other one is called the Babylonian. The Yerushalmi Was written in Yerushalmi Israel and the Babylonian was written in Babylonian bavil.

- The Yerushalmi was written in the 5th century. The Babylonian was written in the 6th and 7th century's. The Yerushalmi was canonized in the 5th
century and the other book was canonized in the 6th and 7th centurys .

How many volumes
Rashi and various wrote the Talmud. There are 63 volumes. It also has over 5,400 pages.
We think that the Talmud is really confusing to us. It is written in Hebrew only.
