On our first day of class, we explored the Diagon Shuk to learn about the books, attire, and tools we will be studying this year. Next we were sorted into one of Chagworts four magnificent houses (Noah, Abraham, Deborah, and David).
We worked with our new housemates to create a new verse or two to our beloved school song, which we then performed for all of our classmates. We celebrated our first day with apples and honey and a prayer for all of the Torah that we will learn to be as sweet as honey on our tongue.
